Using conventional electricity to recharge a hybrid battery must be inherently unsound: burning coal, gas, or fuel oil to generate electricity to be transmitted over power lines with all the loss entailed can’t be very efficient. If photovoltaic cells could do it, you’d be charging up your battery while you’re at the mall or the ball game

Does anybody know of a good ipod 4gen solar charger. I’m going on a car trip and I want to charg my iPod on the way. Does anybody have one that you like or one that you are looking at buying. If you so yell so I can get a charger before the trip!

I want to get my husband a portable generator for his new workspace away from home. He needs to be able to run a table saw, circular saw, router, jig saw, compressor and various other tools. Not really all at the same time but within the same two hours. I really want a solar powered one considering we live in such a sunny place it would also save money in the long run. Any recommendations? I want a quality one but money is an object so not outrageously priced. Thanks!

Doing a project on it, but can’t seem to name it. It’s going to be a water filter portable and charged by the sun. With the central idea being that it can be charged up by the sun? Something simple catchy but tells what it is, anyone got any ideas?

I am a very busy person and need to know where i can find a charger for my HP TouchSmart tm2. My charger’s input is 100-240V.~ 1.6A 50-60GHz. Output is 18.5V 3.5A. It runs at 65W. We are willing to build a little and we are trying to keep the cost down low. Anything helps, thanks!

i have to operate my garden light 5W x 20, spot light 15W x 5, water fountain 25W x 1, also in absence of sunlight for 2-3 days, which battery will last longer?
