Is there a charger cord for the Li-IOn NP-45 battery that has a USB on both sides?

I am considering getting a Scosche solBAT II, which is a solar charging device, to charge my NP-45 battery to a Fujifilm Z30 Finepix camera. It needs the connecting cable to be a USB however, so I was wondering if there was a battery charger that connected to both sides with USB? Thank you!

Portable battery charger for droid?

I use a popular application on my droid that runs GPS to track my bike rides. The problem is that before I’ve gone twenty miles it KILLS my Vibrant (there will be no emergency calls dead). I need something to charge it on the go. Maybe it doesn’t HAVE to be a solar charger but ideally it would be something I could mount to my bike and use it to charge my phone while I’m riding. Hopefully it will also be rechargeable in case I’m out for forty miles (which is why I was hoping for solar). Also hopefully, it will not add any resistance to the ride. The weight is not really a factor, provided it can keep my phone going.

I am going on a week long mtn. bike tour. Wondering about schematics for solar digital camera battery charger?

I will be in the back country so I won’t have access to electricity.

I already have a flexible solar array that can hang from my backpack. I am looking for control circuits that can effectively charge a digital point & shoot camera battery.

My array is 1×2′ and puts out 12 volts and up to 400 milliamps at full output about mid-day. I designed and soldered together a regulator to regulate it to 6 volts. But I need something better and more precisely regulated.

My battery is a Li-Ion 3.7V with a 1700 mAh capacity.

Thanks!

Can a solar panel be used as a NiCd cordless tool battery charger?

I can’t figure out how to charge a Ni Cd (B&D 18V Firestorm) battery directly with a solar panel so I’ve come up with an alternative which might or might not work. I thought I would connect an inverter (I found a nice 400W for $30) to my trucks battery and plug the B&D Firestorm battery charger into the inverter. Then I was thinking I could use a 5W solar panel to trickle charge the truck battery and keep it connected after the Ni Cd is charged to ensure the truck battery is topped off. The truck would not be running during this process. Will this solution work? Is there a better solution?
